In the 19th century, two wooden water towers were built near the station and a third one closer to the locomotive shed. The one considered the city's landmark was built in 1921. A real treat for railway enthusiasts are two rare locomotive specimens - the Ty2-220 steam locomotive from 1943 and the Hutnik 4010 locomotive from 1958.
