LORETTO MARIAN SHRINE
The Loretto Marian Shrine dates back to 1928. On 27 March 1929, the official name of the town was changed to Loretto, referring to the shrine in Loreto, Italy. In 1981, a statue of Our Lady of Loreto was brought to Polish Loretto—a faithful copy of the statue at the shrine in Loreto, Italy.

KAROL FERDINAND VASA PARK AND OBELISK IN WYSZKÓW
In the second half of the 16th century, Piotr Dunin Wolski, Bishop of Płock, ordered a magnificent manor to be built. It later became Karol Ferdinand Vasa's favourite place. The obelisk dedicated to his memory, founded by Jan Kazimierz, has survived to this day.
WHISTLE MUSEUM IN GWIZDAŁY
The Whistle Museum was established in May 1999. Its creation was proposed by Mr Witold Tchórzewski, a radiologist and collector from Warsaw, who donated 52 whistles to start the collection.

ARMOURY MUSEUM AT LIW CASTLE
The castle was built in the 15th century as a border watchtower. Today it is one of Poland's largest arms museums, displaying edged, firearms and polearms from the 15th to the 20th century in its main exhibition. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions featuring collections from other museums and works by local artists.

MARIA ŻYWIRSKA OPEN-AIR MUSEUM IN
The open-air museum in Brańszczyk was established in 2015 by the Brańszczyk local government as a tribute to “tradition and centuries-old rural culture”. It collects buildings and objects linked to the history and culture of Kurpie Białe, a group known for its unique costumes and customs, formed by settlers who arrived in the 18th century from Kurpie Zielone, a region in northern Masovian Voivodeship.
PALACE IN STARA WIEŚ
A Neo-Gothic palace probably built in the late 16th century, later rebuilt and modernised many times. Open to organised groups by prior reservation.
MUSEUM OF WOODEN ARCHITECTURE OF THE SIEDLCE REGION IN NOWA SUCHA
In Nowa Sucha, 25 km from Siedlce, stands a Baroque manor with corner alcoves, built in 1743 by Ignacy Cieszkowski, castellan of Liw. A Classicist portico was added in 1843. In the late 1980s, Prof. Marek Kwiatkowski, then director of the Royal Łazienki Park, became its curator and restored the building. Twenty structures were moved next to the restored manor: wooden cottages, a Dutch windmill, an inn, farm buildings and another manor from Rudzienko.

PRIVATE MUSEUM OF FOLK ART IN ZAMBRZYNIEC
The gallery, located in a barn, presents not only local visual art and handicrafts, but also literature, folk traditions, regional culture in its broadest sense and the value of “forgotten” professions. Museum workshops are led by renowned artists and folk artists. They are highly regarded and increasingly popular. The museum is open from May to November.

TREBLINKA MUSEUM OF STRUGGLE & MARTYRDOM
Two German camps—a labour camp and an extermination camp—existed in 1941-1944/1942-1943 in forests along the Bug River and Siedlce–Małkinia railway, near Poniatowo. Name comes from the railway station 6 km away. Site lists former Extermination Camp, former Penal Labour Camp, gravel pit, Execution Site and “Black Road”.

CHURCH OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY IN WĘGRÓW
Minor Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saints Peter, Paul, Andrew and Catherine. Originally a Gothic parish church from the 16th century. In 1703-1706, Carlo Ceroni rebuilt it in the Baroque style. The basilica houses the famous Twardowski mirror.

TŁUSZCZ RAILWAY WATER TOWER & LOCOMOTIVE MONUMENTS
Tłuszcz’s history is closely linked to the railway. The town developed especially rapidly after the St Petersburg–Warsaw Railway opened in 1862. New homes and railway workshops gradually appeared. To operate properly, the engine shed needed water supplies. Two wooden water towers were therefore built near the station in the 19th century, and a third near the locomotive depot. The one now considered the town’s landmark was built in 1921. Railway enthusiasts can also admire two rare locomotives: Ty2-220, a 1943 steam locomotive, and Hutnik 4010, built in 1958.

KALISKA STABLE
Kaliska Stable is located in the small village of Kaliska, in Łochów Commune. It is an organic and agrotourism farm and belongs to Poland’s first network of ecotourism farms. The stable lies directly on the riverbank, away from the bustle of civilisation. It offers horse-riding lessons for all skill levels.

“EUROSTRUŚ” ZOO
The zoo is part of “Relaxation at EUROSTRUŚ”, a picturesque spot in Borzychy, Węgrów County, home to various very friendly animals, mainly egg-laying species. African ostriches are the stars, but there are also chickens, ducks, geese, quails, guinea fowl, pheasants, turkeys, peacocks and many others. Visits take place with a guide who shows visitors around and talks about the animals.

SOWIA GÓRA (VIEWPOINT)
Sowia Góra is just beyond Jarnice on the right. It is a fairly high hill overlooking the Liwiec valley and the river’s broad, regular bend.
KAMIENIECKA FOREST
Kamieniecka Forest lies on both sides of the Liwiec, on the Bug’s right bank. Centuries ago it belonged to the Dukes of Mazovia, who had a hunting lodge in nearby Kamieńczyk. Hence its name.
