1. LORETTO MARIAN SHRINE
The Loretto Marian Shrine dates back to 1928. On 27 March 1929, the town's official name was changed to Loretto, referring to the shrine in Loreto, Italy. In 1981, a statue of Our Lady of Loreto was brought to Polish Loretto—a faithful copy of the statue at the shrine in Loreto, Italy.

2. PARK AND KAROL FERDINAND VASA OBELISK IN WYSZKÓW
In the late 16th century, Płock Bishop Piotr Dunin Wolski commissioned a grand manor house. It later became Karol Ferdinand Vasa’s favourite place. Jan Kazimierz funded an obelisk to his memory that survives today. Italian architect Jan Baptysta Gisleni, the Vasas’ court architect, designed it.

3. WHISTLE MUSEUM IN GWIZDAŁY
Established in May 1999, the Whistle Museum followed an idea proposed by Mr Witold Tchórzewski, a Warsaw radiologist and collector, who donated 52 whistles to launch it. It now has about 1,500 whistles and other exhibits.

4. ARMOURY MUSEUM AT LIW CASTLE
Built in the 15th century as a border watchtower, the castle is now one of Poland’s largest arms museums, featuring edged weapons, firearms and polearms from the 15th–20th centuries. Temporary galleries show collections from other museums and local artists’ works. Each year it hosts the International Flavours Tournament on the Great Lithuanian Route and the International Knights’ Tournament at Liw Castle.

5. MARIA ŻYWIRSKA OPEN-AIR MUSEUM IN
The Brańszczyk open-air museum was established in 2015 by the local government as a tribute to “tradition and centuries-old rural culture”. It collects buildings and objects linked to the history and culture of the White Kurpie, a group with unique costumes and customs, formed by settlers who came in the 18th century from the Green Kurpie region in northern Masovian Voivodeship. It includes a Wooden Cottage, Log Barn, Forge and Well.

6. PALACE IN STARA WIEŚ
Neo-Gothic palace built probably in the late 16th century, later rebuilt and modernised several times. Open to organised groups by prior reservation.
7. MUSEUM OF SIEDLCE REGION WOODEN ARCHITECTURE IN NOWA SUCHA
In Nowa Sucha, 25 km from Siedlce, stands a Baroque manor house with corner chambers, built in 1743 by Ignacy Cieszkowski, castellan of Liw. A Neoclassical portico was added in 1843. In the late 1980s, Prof. Marek Kwiatkowski, then director of the Royal Łazienki, became its custodian and renovated it. Twenty buildings were moved beside the restored manor: wooden cottages, a Dutch-style windmill, inn, farm buildings and another manor from Rudzienko.

8. PRIVATE FOLK ART MUSEUM IN ZAMBRZYNIEC
Located in a barn, the gallery presents local visual art and crafts, as well as literature, folk tradition, regional culture and the value of “forgotten” trades. Workshops are led by acclaimed creators and folk artists and are increasingly popular. The museum is open from May to November.

9. MUSEUM: STRUGGLE & MARTYRDOM IN
Two German camps—a labour and an extermination camp—operated in 1941–1944/1942–1943 in Bug River forests by the Siedlce–Małkinia railway, near Poniatowo. The name comes from the railway station 6 km from the camp. The site includes the former Extermination Camp, former Penal Labour Camp, gravel pit, Execution Site and the so-called “Black Road”.

10. CHURCH OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY IN WĘGRÓW
Minor Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Saints Peter, Paul, Andrew and Catherine. Originally a Gothic parish church from the 16th century, it was rebuilt in Baroque style by Carlo Ceroni in 1703–1706. The basilica houses the famous Twardowski Mirror.

11. RAILWAY WATER TOWER AND LOCOMOTIVE MONUMENTS IN
Tłuszcz's history is closely linked to the railway. The town developed particularly rapidly after the Petersburg–Warsaw Railway opened in 1862. New homes and railway workshops gradually appeared. To ensure proper operation, the engine depot needed water supplies. Thus, two wooden water towers were built near the station in the 19th century, and a third closer to the locomotive shed. The one now considered the town's landmark was built in 1921. Railway enthusiasts will also appreciate two rare locomotives: Ty2-220 steam engine from 1943 and Hutnik 4010 locomotive from 1958.

12. ŁOCHÓW CINEMA

13. KALISKA STABLE
Kaliska Stable is in the small village of Kaliska, in Łochów Municipality. It is an organic farm and agritourism facility, part of Poland’s first eco-tourism farm network. Located on a riverbank away from civilization, it offers horse-riding lessons for all skill levels.

14. “EUROSTRUŚ” ANIMAL PARK
The Animal Park is part of “EUROSTRUŚ Leisure”, a picturesque spot in Borzychy, Węgrów County, home to various delightful animals, mainly egg-laying species. African ostriches tower over the park, alongside chickens, ducks, geese, quails, guinea fowl, pheasants, turkeys, peacocks and many others. Visits take place with a guide who shows visitors around and talks about the animals.

15. OWL MOUNTAIN (VIEWPOINT)
Sowia Góra is just beyond Jarnice, on the right. This fairly high hill rises above the Liwiec valley and the river’s broad, regular bend.
16. KAMIENIECKA FOREST
Kamieniecka Forest lies on both sides of the Liwiec, on the Bug’s right bank. Centuries ago, it belonged to the Mazovian dukes, who kept a hunting lodge in nearby Kamieńczyk, and the forest is named after it.
