SUNDAY WITH THE LENA GROCHOWSKA FOUNDATION
Some Sundays are not meant to be spent ordinarily.
Unique culinary, artistic and musical experiences will come together at one table with genuine support for people with intellectual disabilities. All of this awaits us on October 4 at the Łochów Palace and Manor, part of the Arche Hotels collection.
About the Foundation
Helping People Live Normally
The Lena Grochowska Foundation was established in 2014 and focuses on long-term support for people who have found themselves in a difficult life situation or are at risk of social exclusion.
The Foundation's goal is to counteract social exclusion and to create conditions for as independent, active and dignified a life as possible. The Foundation supports people with disabilities through professional and social activation, as well as artistic and sporting activities. Its mission is best captured by the words "we help people live normally". This is everyday work aimed at enabling people who often face limitations to work and build relationships with others.
The Foundation supports, in particular, people with disabilities, people experiencing homelessness, repatriates, people leaving correctional facilities, and other people in difficult life situations.
"Sunday with the Lena Grochowska Foundation" is a family event for whole families and couples, and at the same time a space for building relationships among business partners and friends of the Foundation. Staff from the Foundation's branch in Łochów will prepare activities and workshops for the youngest guests, so parents can fully take part in the programme while children have their own space to play.
Musical highlight of the evening
Star of the Evening: Ania Rusowicz
The musical highlight of the evening will be an intimate live concert performed by Ania Rusowicz, one of the most distinctive figures on the contemporary Polish music scene.
This will be a moving musical journey through the most beautiful songs of Polish music legends, such as Anna German, Irena Santor, Ada Rusowicz, Anna Jantar, Sława Przybylska, Ewa Demarczyk and Natasza Zylska, in new, fresh and emotionally rich interpretations.
The artist will be accompanied by a pianist, whose subtle and elegant playing will create an intimate atmosphere full of emotion, nostalgia and joy.
An evening that gives something more
Charity Auction
Following the concert, a charity art auction will take place. Works by both professional and non-professional artists will go under the hammer, with all proceeds allocated to the activation of people with intellectual disabilities.
You may leave Łochów with a beautiful piece of art. You may also leave knowing that this evening contributed to giving someone another chance.
