MARY SANCTUARY IN LORETTO
The origins of the Marian Sanctuary in Loretto date back to 1928. On March 27, 1929, the official name of the village was changed to Loretto, referring to the famous Sanctuary in Loreto, Italy. In 1981, a statue of Our Lady of Loreto—an exact copy of the one from the Italian shrine—was brought to the Polish Loretto.

PARK AND OBELISK OF CHARLES FERDINAND VASA IN WYSZKÓW
In the second half of the 16th century, Bishop Piotr Dunin Wolski of Płock built a grand manor house, which later became the favorite residence of Charles Ferdinand Vasa. Today, an obelisk dedicated to his memory, funded by King John II Casimir and designed by Italian court architect Giovanni Battista Gisleni, still stands there.

WHISTLE MUSEUM IN GWIZDAŁY
Founded in May 1999, the Whistle Museum began with a donation of 52 whistles from Dr. Witold Tchórzewski, a Warsaw-based radiologist and collector. Today, the museum houses around 1,500 whistles and related exhibits.

ARMORY MUSEUM AT LIW CASTLE
Built in the 15th century as a border stronghold, the Liw Castle now hosts one of Poland’s largest weapon collections, featuring bladed, firearms, and polearms from the 15th to the 20th centuries. The museum also presents temporary exhibitions of art and regional collections. Annual events include the International Flavors Tournament and the International Knight Tournament.

MARIA ŻYWIRSKA OPEN-AIR MUSEUM IN BRAŃSZCZYK
Established in 2015, the open-air museum honors the rural traditions of the White Kurpie—a unique ethnographic group known for its distinctive clothing and customs. The museum features traditional buildings such as a wooden cottage, barn, forge, and well.

PALACE IN STARA WIEŚ
A Neo-Gothic palace built probably at the end of the 16th century, later rebuilt and modernized several times. Open to organized groups by prior reservation.
WOODEN ARCHITECTURE MUSEUM OF THE SIEDLCE REGION IN NOWA SUCHA
Located 25 km from Siedlce, this baroque manor from 1743 was built by Ignacy Cieszkowski, Castellan of Liw. In the late 20th century, the site was restored and expanded into an open-air museum with 20 wooden structures, including cottages, a Dutch-style windmill, an inn, farm buildings, and another manor.

PRIVATE MUSEUM OF FOLK ART IN ZAMBRZYNIEC

MUSEUM OF STRUGGLE AND MARTYRDOM IN TREBLINKA
The site of two German camps—labor and extermination—operating between 1941–1944/1942–1943 near the village of Poniatowo, along the Siedlce–Małkinia railway line. The museum covers the former extermination camp, labor camp, gravel pit, execution site, and “Black Road.”

CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY IN WĘGRÓW
This minor basilica, originally Gothic from the 16th century, was rebuilt in Baroque style between 1703–1706 by architect Carlo Ceroni. It houses the famous Twardowski Mirror.

RAILWAY WATER TOWER AND LOCOMOTIVE MONUMENTS IN TŁUSZCZ
The history of Tłuszcz is closely tied to the railway, especially after the opening of the St. Petersburg–Warsaw Railway in 1862. The iconic water tower, built in 1921, is now a symbol of the town. Nearby are two historic locomotives: Ty2-220 (1943) and Hutnik 4010 (1958).

“EUROOSTRICH” ANIMAL PARK
Part of the Eurostruś Leisure Center in Borzychy, this charming mini-zoo is home to various egg-laying animals—ostriches, hens, ducks, geese, quails, turkeys, peacocks, and more. Tours are guided by a caretaker who introduces the residents.
